Tell UC Berkeley: Stop Political Activism From Reaching Elementary Classrooms
UC Berkeley trained elementary educators with an activist assigned as TK–12 Ethnic Studies Teacher on Special Assignment (Joemy Ito-Gates) who declared “ethnic studies means free Palestine”—while its own Ethnic Studies promotional image prominently features a keffiyeh wrapped around a raised fist. Teachers were given classroom-ready materials they could use immediately.
